Shipping:
- All in-stock items will be shipped within two days of receiving payment. Please note that it is not always possible to ship the same day. USPS and FedEx typically can only go out the next day. Simple orders to be shipped by UPS expedited services can go out the same day, but UPS Ground orders usually go the next business day.
- "Semi-custom" items are shipped within a week. "Custom" items are dependent on the terms of the agreement involved. Orders are shipped when all items are ready to be shipped; we do not partial ship unless prior arrangements have been made.
- International orders shipped by USPS, Air or Surface, have a variable delivery time. Air is usually a two-week delivery, but can take anywhere from one to three weeks to arrive. Surface is more variable, and can take up to two months to arrive. Of all of the packages shipped to international destinations, only one air mail package has been lost, and that was during a French postal worker strike. One surface package may have been lost, but we do not know for sure. So, basically, there is a 99.9% chance that your package will arrive. If you ordered something and it has been shipped, please be patient, it will arrive.
Returns:
- All items are guaranteed against DOA, with a 3-day inspection period. Furthermore, products manufactured by CK Computer Systems (T-Cards, mini-backplanes, other adapter boards) carry a 90-day warranty.
- Our no-DOA guarantee is fairly simple. Once the item arrives at the mailing address given, you, as the purchaser, have three days to inspect an item to make sure it works. Packages are always shipped with a delivery confirmation number if shipping by USPS, and UPS Ground includes a tracking number, so delivery can be verified with all domestic packages shipped. If there is a problem with the item, you need to contact us within the warranty period to make arrangements for the return of the item. In the unlikely event of a failure, the item will be replaced a refund of the purchase price of the item will be issued upon return receipt.
- Once return authorization has been given, the item must be packed as though it were functional, and must be shipped with a tracking number of some sort to confirm the shipping date. The package must be shipped within one week of authorizing the return or the offer to refund the purchase price will be void.
- If the returned item is obviously mishandled (for example, an overclocking experiment gone horribly wrong) or is poorly packed for its return trip, refund will be at our discretion.
